Bible Camp Project development
This plan is developed as part of our investment project to establish the Ababa Wandaro Bible Camp & Good News Revival Park within the Gospel Mission Corridor in Tebela, Wolaytta, Ethiopia. Our goal is to transform this historically significant site into a leading destination for spiritual retreats & revival, Home of elder missionaries, Christian tourism, and faith-based mission work.
With our well-established reputation as the Ababa Wandaro Dabaro, we have a proven track record of delivering authentic, God-centered services. Through our commitment to spiritual care and hospitality, we continue the legacy of Ababa Wandaro by providing a place where people can experience God’s presence. Given the increasing demand for faith-based accommodations, we recognize the opportunity to expand the scope of our work internationally and welcome partners who share our vision.
To fully realize this vision, we propose forming an equity joint venture with international partners who share our mission and commitment to faith-based travel development. This partnership will enable us to:
Expand our reach and attract a global audience.
Enhance infrastructure and services and attract a steady flow of Christian vacationers seeking meaningful experiences.
Leverage combined expertise in hospitality, tourism, and ministry work.
About the project
Background
Ethiopia is home to some of Africa’s most historically significant religious and cultural sites. The southern region holds a special place in Evangelical Christian history, as it was the birthplace of the first born-again Christian movement through the efforts of Sudan Interior Mission (SIM). One of the first believers and evangelists, Ababa Wandaro, was born and began his mission in Tebela area, Wolaytta. This deep-rooted legacy provides a unique foundation for our project. By developing this site, we aim to honor his legacy while establishing Tebela as a major Good News attraction Revival home for Christian pilgrims, missionaries, and faith-based tourists from around the world.
Opportunity
Growing Demand: There is a clear and growing demand for Bible camps and spiritual retreats, driven by an increasing number of Christian visitors seeking accommodations that offer both relaxation and spiritual enrichment.
Spiritual Wellbeing: Many people today prioritize personal and devotional time during their vacations, searching for destinations that nurture both physical recreation and spiritual wellness.
Tourism Appeal: By integrating historical significance with modern amenities, the Bible Camp & Good News Revival Park is poised to become a favorite attraction for both domestic and international tourists.
Conclusion
The development of the Ababa Wandaro Bible Camp & Good News Revival Park is a unique opportunity to merge Ethiopia’s deep Christian heritage with modern faith-based tourism. By forming a strategic joint venture, we seek to preserve the legacy of Ababa Wandaro while meeting the growing demand for spiritual retreats and faith-inspired travel experiences. We look forward to partnering with like-minded investors to bring this vision to fruition.
