Brief of the Project

This plan outlines an investment project for the development of the Ababa Wandaro Bible Camp & Good News Revival Park, with the goal of entering the Gospel Mission corridor at Tebela, Welyatta, Ethiopia. The project is implemented by the Ababa Wandaro Revival Ministry (AWRM) and aims to create a premier destination for Christian devotional retreats, spiritual well-being, and recreation.

Ethiopia is renowned for its rich historical and religious heritage, holding some of the most significant sites in Africa. In particular, the Southern region has a profound legacy as the birthplace of born-again Christianity in the country, established through the ministry of SIM (Sudan Interior Mission). Tebela, Welyatta, holds historical importance as the home of Ababa Wandaro, one of the first believers and a prophetic evangelist who began his mission there. This project seeks to honor his legacy and transform the area into a leading Good News attraction for Christian visitors.

Rising Demand for Devotional Tourism:
There is a growing demand for Bible camps and devotional spaces as more Christians seek meaningful ways to spend their vacations focused on personal devotion and spiritual well-being. The Ababa Wandaro Bible Camp & Good News Revival Park is positioned to meet this need by providing a serene environment for spiritual reflection, quality accommodations, and a range of recreational and well-being services.

Facilities and Offerings:
Spanning 100 hectares of land, the project will feature:

  • Devotional and worship spaces inspired by the legacy of Ababa Wandaro.

  • Recreational facilities including a park, an infinity pool, sports fields, and a gymnasium for balanced spiritual and physical activities.

  • Comfortable accommodations and hospitality services for both local and international Christian visitors.

  • Well-being care services to enhance the spiritual and physical experience of visitors.

Expanding the Legacy:
Building on the well-established reputation of Ababa Wandaro Dabaro and AWRM's expertise in providing authentic Godly services, the project aims to continue his legacy of faith and spiritual revival. By offering a combination of spiritual and recreational experiences, the camp seeks to become one of the most favored destinations for Christian tourists in the region.

Investment and Partnership Opportunity:
To realize this vision and expand internationally, AWRM is open to forming an equity joint venture. As a local ministry, this model aligns with the goal of fair and sustainable growth. The partnership would facilitate enhancements in infrastructure, promotion, and the overall scope of the project, providing attractive returns for investors while ensuring the long-term impact of the ministry’s mission.

In essence, the Ababa Wandaro Bible Camp & Good News Revival Park is poised to become a cornerstone of the Gospel Mission corridor, attracting Christian tourists and promoting both spiritual revival and sustainable tourism in Ethiopia.
